A bit harsh and astringent but not bitter. Just a bit off on the brewing process, pacific standard berkeley

From a bomber purchased at the brewery. Pors a hazy amber with an ecru head. Nutty aroma. Flavors of grains, moderately sweet, with a bitter finish.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark amber orange, little white head. Nose is sweet industrial woody herbal syrup, oddly sticky, unpleasant with low pine resin. Taste is weird plaster, dough, industrial woody syrup,… Feels processed almost. Not a fun, unpleasant industrial-like syrup affair.

Bomber. Tall Boys, Leeds. As Mavericks Amber Ale. Hazy, reddy amber. Good covering of lasting, off white head. Nose has light toffee malts. Some berry fruit. Some earthy nuttiness. Taste is light dry. Light sweet. Foamy mouthfeel. Light dry finish. Probably well past it’s prime, and just about OK as a result.

Tap. I am not usually a fan of amber ales, other than the hoppy red IPA type, but this one ain’t too bad! Pours clear red amber with a small beige head and some lacing. Aroma is caramel and toffee dominated, just a touch of hoppy nose in there as well. Flavor is the same with a touch of pine. Lightly sweet, minimal bitterness. Medium body.

Has a red-brown colour. Aroma and taste of toasty malts and sweet red fruit. Nice fruity hop taste.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 5/16/11
Aroma: The nose is slightly sweet, some caramel and a little citrus
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a thin head
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet with mostly caramel malt flavors
Palate: The body is falrly light (leaning toward medium) and the mouthfeel is clean
Overall Impression: Overall, this was a decent brew. Drinkable, but unremarkable, this is a solid, caramel malt dominated, amber ale.

Draft. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has light notes of hops, citrus, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of vegetables, straw, and hops - flawed. The finish is dry and bitter.
