Can that Liz got at the Natomas venue. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is very juicy fruit with some citrus. Med body at least. Flavor is juicy, a little dank, with lots of citrus, lots of fruit, and maybe even a touch of passionfruit. Too juicy to be dry; very nicely bitter in a non-harsh way. Excellent.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours really dark brown, but there’s some coppery/garnet at the edges. Beige? head. Aroma of very dark treacle and chocolate. Yet somehow it’s bringing beef tamale to mind. ?? Full bodied for sure. Heat in the nose, but not much in the mouth. Flavor is very dark treacle, chocolate and maybe some vanilla and coffee. A hit at the beginning of each mouthful that’s fantastic. And maybe a little heat follows. It’s great stuff. Doesn’t seem at all tarted up. Except for 14.2%!!!!!

Bomber to myself after a day in Disneyland, Anaheim with my family. Fireworks were good, but we were all knackered to be honest and we left straight after them, like almost everyone else it seemed. Anyway the beer poured a misty golden orange colour, white topping for a while. Tropical fruits in both the nose and taste with grapefruits too the fore, hidden sweetness within the brew from somewhere. I didn't really take to it, but I needed a beer fix after my long day out. Scored objectively.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy/juicy with a white head. Aroma is citrus/tropical. Med body at least. Flavor is quite juicy with citrus and tropicals. Pineapple? It’s juicily undry and more than moderately bitter. Delicious ale.
