When we released Panic, our 1st IPA ever, it took Sacramento by storm. Several years and many awards later, it’s grown beyond our hometown to become a California staple. With its big hops and smooth body, Panic is an exceptional example of a West Coast IPA, featuring classic notes of grapefruit citrus and piney resin.

Can at home. Aroma is fruity hops, citrus, zesty orange, grapefruit, tropical notes, pine resin, good biscuit malt backbone. Flavour is light sweet and nicely bitter. Body is medium. Excellent drinkability and very fruity hoppy juicy, my kind of IPA. Great stuff!

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some sweet malts, tropical fruits and mild lemongrass too. Flavour is peach, apricot, some citrusy tones with a nice floral bitterness to it. Also a bit sweet malts along the hoppiness in the flavour.

Quite hazy golden, peach and raw honey coloured boddy with a nice, two to three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, hay, light earth, a good hit of citrus and piney hops with some alpha acid bitterness and a dash of sweteness as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal notes at first with some biscuity maltiness and a good hit of flowers and light fruity sweetness. Some light bitterness ensues from the hops, but definitely more of a biscuity and grainy malt flavour and some yeast that show more than the hops and bitterness. Aftertaste is relatively well-balanced, but for the style, showing too much malt and biscuits and not enough hops, citrus or piney flavours that you'd expect. Overall, decent enough, but not very good for the style and definitely not worth the money I spent on it, when there are so many other local choices. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from BevMo in Beverly Hills (La Cienaga Boulevard), California on 27-December-2019 for US$6,99 sampled in my hotel room hwere in Aliso Viejo, California, a day later on 28-December-2019.

Bomber to myself after a day in Disneyland, Anaheim with my family. Fireworks were good, but we were all knackered to be honest and we left straight after them, like almost everyone else it seemed. Anyway the beer poured a misty golden orange colour, white topping for a while. Tropical fruits in both the nose and taste with grapefruits too the fore, hidden sweetness within the brew from somewhere. I didn't really take to it, but I needed a beer fix after my long day out. Scored objectively.

Bottle from GBBF 2017 and drunk at home. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Love the pink grapefruit flavour. Fresh hoppy ipa. Light but adequate malt. Balanced hops that are still big. Bitter finish. Rather delicious. I thought. A little harsh bittet bug fine.
