When we released Panic, our 1st IPA ever, it took Sacramento by storm. Several years and many awards later, it’s grown beyond our hometown to become a California staple. With its big hops and smooth body, Panic is an exceptional example of a West Coast IPA, featuring classic notes of grapefruit citrus and piney resin.

Bottle shared at GBBF 2017, day 2 - big thanks to BIK! Pours clear orangey gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has pale malts, dry pine, citrus peel, some floral accents. Light-medium sweet flavour with some crunchy pale malts, bitter grass and pine, background tangerine, orange. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, with further crisp pale malts, bitter pine needles, orange peel. Solid IPA.

12 FL OZ can. This one pours a clear, crystal clear actually golden colored body with a tall big lasting and mildly lacing off-white head on the top. It has a nice sweet aroma. Lots of piney hops here of course. Also a little fruit-fresh with melon and soft mango. Mild citrus in the back. Yeah, smells nice. It has a mild oily texture in the mouth and it's just about average on the carbonation. Really piney in the taste. Lots of bitter citrus peel, birch and it tastes a little old perhaps. Kinda da watery in the finish. Decent stuff, would probably have been even better fresher. 18.03.2017

Fra boks på Mi2, Cardinal mars-17: klar gylden med fint skum. Deilig aroma med ananas, furunål, grapefrukt og marmelade. Smaken likeså. Tørr, og med en ganske kraftig bitterhet. Allikevel fint balansert. Kjenner jeg et værhår av Simcoe-katten?

Shared can at Mi2 at Cardinal 13.03.17. Clear golden. Off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of American hops, marmalade, citrus and dried tropical fruits, balanced with moderate malt sweetness. Round mouthfeel.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it is a clear deep gold body that supports a bright white head. The aroma offers up danky earthy garlic and onion The taste delivers citrus hop bitterness and then inviting and rich danky spicy earthy onion like hoppiness. It gets a little pine hop resin going on about midway along with a slice of grapefruit. Pretty solid stuff.
