Opaque ruby brown, small creamy tan head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malts, licorice, dried dark fruits, sugar syrup. Taste light heavy to medium sweet, medium bitter, roasted malts, toffee, chocolate, with long duration. Bittersweet roasty finish, chocolate notes, medium body, oily to creamy texture, average carbonation. Not your typical bock but a nice brew.

Sweetbitter aftertaste, malty and fruity notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, acceptable strong ale, okay.

Tap @Bierderie Waterland, Monnickendam [30/8/19]. Hazy medium golden, good frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma sweet, grain, light orange, touch of cumin, yeast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grainy, hoppy. Bittersweet aftertaste, orange pith, herbal notes, lingering bitter finish; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Quite bitter for a blonde ale, nice.

From tap poured into a shaker @Bierderij Waterland, Monnickendam [30/8/19]. Clear pale golden colour, good frothy white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, grain, light grass. Taste medium sweet and bitter, distinct malty backbone. Grainish dry sweetbitter aftertaste, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, solid pilsner, nice.

Bottle shared at sjogro. Clear dark amber to copper with big dark beige head. Brown sugar, sweet caramel malts, soft raisins, herbal, old wood, cola, bitter dusty spices. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied with slick oily feel.

Bottle at home from Ekoplaza. Bit hazy light amber with light beige head. Lots of caramel, pils malts, grassy, dry grain husks, some bitter herbal honey drink, light wood. Medium sweet and over medium bitter. Solid medium bodied with oily feel. They should have called this Malty Hannah, there are hops here but it seems like mostly bittering hops. OK beer but not a good IPA.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven, geprobeerd met Benzai en Keukeman. Het is is een helder donkerbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een caramel achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, gebrand, caramel en chocolade.
