Cask stillage at the Grape and Grain Spring Beer Festival 2012, Crystal Palace. Amber pour with a white head. Orange marmalade and light citrus aroma. Fruity, citrusy flavour. Fruit filled finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Kent Beeriodical, Seven Stars, Bristol February 2012. Gold with a slight white head. An easy drinking bitter with some leafy hops, cereal malts and moderately butter finish. Fine.

Cask handpull at The County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Clear old gold colour with lasting white head. Cracking condition. Hoppy floral aroma. Some light biscuit from the malt. Good biscuit and some good tingly hop in the mouth. Hardly hop rocket, more a hoppy premium bitter but no harm in that at all. Good though.

Cask @ The The Ledger Building, 4 Hertsmere Road, West India Quay, Docklands, Greater London, England E14 4AL.Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120101]
