Cask gravity at SIBA BF, Paddock Wood. Brewed to an old recipe found somewhere by the brewery. Very deep red, thin beige head. Syrupy malty ESB style beer. Could be in better condition. Some deep strawberry jam fruit. Just needs ab it of conditon to be a bit less obviously syrupy. Very dry on finish.

Cask gravity at SIBA BF, Paddock Wood. Clear orange, a bit like a toned down Irn Bru colour with a thin pinky white head. Some faint cherry on aroma. Some faint cherry on end. The rest is a bitter. Not sure the sweet sour of the cherry and the bitter all mix very well. A rather bizarre cherry ber, which I’m not sure works. the cherry softens a little. Fine. Very dry finish.

Cask at GBBF08. Clear dark amber colour. Small creamy white head. Mild malty flavour. Low to medium bitterness. Hint of aroma hops in the finish.

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, not much head. Flavour is fruits, wood, some perfumeish notes. Flavour is basic nectar and fruits. Quite mild aroma and flavour.

500ml Bottle - Golden/amber with a bit of a haze. Malt and grain aroma with some citrus hops. Fruity and hoppy taste with some grapefruit and grain notes.

Cask gravity at Rare Breeds BF 08. Copper colour. Bit of a yeasty aroma. Good fruit. Good condition, nice in mouth, good hops, bit of sherbert, bit of farty years. Bramling Cross presence on end is lovely.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, buttery notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020508)

Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. Gold with thin white head. Decent English IPA. Rather lovely citrus hops, over a fullish toffeeish malt base. Hops are outstanding. Really good balanced beer. Lovely drying tasty hop on finish. Superb.

500 ml. bottle. Pours copper amber color with a good white head. Something of floral hop overlaying light caramel for flavor. Medium body with near sharp, but creamy, carbonation. Ale turns bitter and bready. Develops more powerful flavors as consumption continues. Pretty dry and bitter finish.

Cask handpull at Market Porter. I like Westerham, but this was just so full of diacetyl that I drank about a 1/3 of a pint and left the rest. 2 fairly beer geeky people next to me, quite liked it.
