Bottled. Pours black colour with beige head. Nice coffee, roasted malts and some cocoa aroma with the same notes in taste, followed by roasted malty finish. Light bodied with creamy mouthfeel. Nice dunkel.

Bottle. Pours deep golden with thick, but quickly disappearing head. Slight, moderately bitter hoppy notes in aroma and in taste as well. Quite average so far, noting outstanding but not bad either. In finish, however there’re some strange, sweet-metallic notes that ruin the sip.

0.33 l bottle. Pours clear golden with huge but quickly disappearing head. Typical belgian ale nose and taste: sweet fruity-flowery, with some yeast and alcohol. Long lasting lingering, sweet and warm finish, medium body, average carbo. Not bad, but there's nothing noteable bout it.

Poured from 500mL bottle (bb 15.02.25 - uh oh 1 day late!). Big pop on opening, but no gush whatsoever. Clear amber gold with white head. Fairly malty and herbaceous with some feint honey and a big shot of bittering hops on the finish. The cohesion leaves much to be desired here - there are some conflicting transitions on the mouthfeel. Okay, nonetheless.

Аромат умеренный, солодовый, немного горчит. Цвет просто лучший, тесно янтарный с красивой белой пеной. Вкус по началу очень питкий и приятный. После глотка начинает появляться чешский хмель, как у пилзнера, мне к сожалению это не нравится. Так что послевкусие хуже первых впечатлений. Но все равно в целом прикольное пиво.

Аромат жженый, даже не слегка, сразу ощущается чешский солод и хмель. Есть нотки кофе и черного шоколада. Пиво очень темное на просвет, пенка маленькая, кремовоя. Вкус конечно чешский, если вы понимаете о чем я. Очень много традиционного солода, нотки кофе, вообще пиво слегка с сухой и терпкой ноткой. При глотке сухость только усиливается, тут уже как будто пилзенский хмель. Весьма сильный, без намеков на бархатность. Очень зайдет всем любителям горького пива из Чехии, я таким к сожалению не являюсь.

Half pint on tap at The Colmore, Birmingham. Dark brown with a small creamy beige top. Lovely aroma of berries, light toasted malts. Taste has a moderate bitter but sweet toasty malt, grains, a touch of fruity and herbal hops. Smooth body. It's a good one.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Clear golden colored brew with an sweet bitter taste, grassy aroma at the start and some hints of lemon and some flowery hoppiness. Bought it in the local Billa Supermarket, Praha-2.

Bottle with swingtop 0,5ltr: Very dark brown wich is obviously clear and the taste is sublime dry bitter. Hints of roasted malts, chocolate and caramel and some slightly vanilla. Bought it in the local Billa Supermarket, Praha-2.

500mL bottle, pours a clear copper orange with a medium white head. Aroma is maltier for a Czech pils, with herbaceous, somewhat grassy hops, a light metallic tinge, and gentle spiciness from the hops. Definitely not one of the more vibrant, spicier Czech pilsners out there, but it's reasonable clean and drinkable, and there's a nice hop bite on the finsh. Pretty meh for the style overall, but solid enough.
