Dank am See! Flasche: Dishwater-like coloured, cloudy, small and loose off-white foamy layer, Booth fresh citrussy and phenolic-yeast nose; moderate dryish bitter flavour, Löw sweetness, more light than medium bodied, tart; dry grapefruity-bitter finish, increasing tartness towards the and, necrotic yeast as a final Impression. A Bier, that the world needs now...

Bottle (Dank am See!): Gushing, murky brown, small off-white foamy layer, moderate bitter-sweet aroma of toasted malt and spicy hops, traces of a certain fruityness and tannic acid underneath; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, both soft and tart; increasing tartness in the dry bitter and malty finish. Unharmonic. Not moreish...

0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Unclear golden in the glass, more than one finger white foamy head. Dry grainy smell with burnt plastic. Taste starts with licorice and burnt plastic, some sweetness with caramel. Medical. Weird. Very low carbonated. Wrong bottle? Went to the sink ...

0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Unclear dark amber with a nearly two finger head in the glass. Mid size tropical hop smell. Taste is also fresh hopy, some sweetness, increasing malty bitterness but no hop hammer. Pine and honey. Okay.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Fresh malty sweetness in the nose. Fruity bitterness with a very strange balance. Intense bitterness, very strange dust, neutral bitterness over red dry malts. Bitter, malty, red malt, dry grain, unbalanced.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Grainy bitter beginning. Easy to drink, intense bittered with a grainy sticky body. Floral hops over an unbalanced bitterness with lots of grain on top. Bitter floral aftertaste, lots of grain, somehow strange.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Fine hoppy-fruity aroma. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Fine hoppy-flowery notes. Some hints of lemon. Finish milder, less fruity, shy hoppy. Okay.

Bottle from the brewery. Looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Hoppy flowery aroma, a bit soapy. Starts mild, sourish-lemon notes, still a bit soapy. Shy bitter background. Finish well balanced, soapy-malty. Not bad.
