Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Opaque brown color with a red hue, average sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, caramelized sugars a bit. Flavor is malts, boozy a bit, sweetish a bit, some red fruit notes and wood. Thin texture, I miss sticky texture. Hmm decent base but needs more work. 7-6-6-5-6

Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is some wood, hint of vanilla, malt, nuts, light roast. Taste is the same, light wood, light tart, some bourbon, malt, light roast, quite complex and nice to drink.

33 cl. can @ home, bought online @ het Biermoment. Dutch brewery #542. Clear dark brown to black with a beige head. Dark caramel aroma with coffee and bourbon. Sweet taste with a sweet boozy finish. Interesting and very well brewed beer.

0.33 l can from 'Het Biermoment', best before December 2024. Black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, some oak and just a touch of bourbon. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, ash, some oak and hints of bourbon, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter, earthy and slightly woody finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant, well-balanced brew, much less bourbon than expected.

Bottle at home, darker almost murky orange/brown-ish beer, small head. Aroma is citrus, hops, lemon, tangerine, bit malt and caramel. Taste is the same, bitter with a light sweet aftertaste, not bad.
