16 oz. draft at Archie Moore’s. A near clear gold with fizzy carbonation level. Aroma and flavor are the same. Mild herbal notes with citrus that is almost like grapefruit. Bitterness is moderate but becomes astringent as it warms. Not sure how fast kegs kick at this restaurant but… not knowing the age of the keg, or cleanliness of the tap lines, average.

32 oz. growler purchased at the NEBco 24 hours prior to drinking. Appearance is a near clear golden straw color. Flavor is very old school in a not-s-good way. Caramel / sweet grain backbone. Hops are completely subdued. This tastes more like a sweeter English pale ale rather than G-Bot. Because in theory, a lower ABV G-Bot should be tasty.

32 oz. filled at the brewery 24 hours prior. Appearance shows a bright hazy yellow. Flavor has a mild peach, light herbal green hops. Bitterness is moderate with a good balance of malt. Pretty well made.

7 oz. draft sample at the brewery. Appearance is a cloudy yellow color, normal carbonation level. Not just mango on the palate a good earthy/ grassy hop. Lets you know it is indeed an IPA. No juice bomb here.

7 oz. draft sampled at the brewery. Appearance is a purple / pinkish color with straw edges, thin fizzy head. Aroma has strong berries and light yeast. Flavor has no lactic acid with a bolder berry character, hints of yogurt. Tart not sour.

From a 500ml can on 2/9/2018 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a murky golden with a big head which disappears fast. As advertised, the nose is all smoke and mango. Unfortunately, the flavour is quite muddled. There is both mango and smoke again, but it combines in a slightly sour and unsatisfying manner. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sounds interesting but just doesn't work.

On tap at Wood n Tap - Hartford, pours an opaque orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out rich piney and resinous hops, with a biscuity malt base. Flavour is incredibly smooth, with creamy piney hops, some resins, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Piney and very deep. Excellent.

On tap at Cask Republic - New Haven, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, with some earthiness and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with fresh piney hops, crisp biscuity malt and a touch of citrusy bitterness. Crisp and bold. Very good.

Can pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is hazy yellow with slight orange and greenish tinge, decent sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and minimal leggy lacing. Aroma is strong tropical fruit away from the glass and herbal muskiness with your nose right in it; hint of grape. Taste is initial subtle grape overtaken by dominant herbal muskiness, late bitter, subtle pine. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and dry, musky and bitter finish. Overall, the fruity aspect of Vic Secret is largely absent with more of the herbal, piney qualities coming through. That makes it somewhat different but the level of muskiness isn't altogether pleasant.
