Description
On a small abandoned farm back in 2002 William Frank and Else Birk started a small brew house focusing on quality and good craftsmanship. The brewery was not far from where the Grauballe man (a bog body that was uncovered in 1952 from a peat bog) was found - hence the name Grauballe Bryghus.
Grauballe Bryghus was in these premises until the year 2013. By then it had grown so big that it was time to move to larger premises where it is today.

clear golden, smooth creamy offwhite head. flowery, hoppy , grassy aroma. aromatic. very nice. flavor is flowery, ever so slightly sourish, sweet malty, hoppy. Not at all like the best saison beers i’ve had, but in and of itself tasty enough. Rather dry for a saison, and lacks most of the citrussy sour flavors.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, golden beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Citrusy nose with tropical fruits. Fruity flavor with citrus and tropical fruits, quite low on maltyness. Medium to full body, bitter and fruity finish. A refreshing and quenching beer, straight forward without any fuzz. Would like a bit more bitterness though. 100108
