Blueberry, charred oak nose. Black ,thin yellow head. Charred oak, blueberry accents. Seems lacking in the usual character of the base beer. Maybe it's concealed by the additives, which to me don't seem excessive or insistent.

Dark opaque brown with tan head. Cinnamon and vanilla aroma. Slightly creamy and medium bodied. Sweet cocoa taste with cinnamon and other spices prominent. Cloyingly sweet finish, typical in a pastry stout.
