Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is cinnamon, lime and some lemongrass and mild citrus. Flavour is lime, cinnamon, some lemongrass and mild tartness with a slight salty edge to it. Works quite nicely.

A deep frothy tan head on a near black body. A dense aroma features wood, chocolate, vanilla and mild coffee. The Oak chips manifest themselves in a damp woodiness and a deeper oak taste. Earthy and citrus hops, sweet chocolate, coffee, crème brule, toffee and dark berries create a deep and complex taste profile. This is an IS edging towards an imperial black IPA. The blend is rich, sweet but bitter at the same time. A dense and slightly sticky texture are also assets.

Near black body topped by maybe the greatest dense, frothy, deep tan head I have laid eyes on. The nose has stuff going on - Booze, fresh cut wood, apricots and chocolate milk. First and foremost, this is a chocolate stout. Very dark chocolate. secondary tastes include chocolate milk, dank citrus hops, apricots, slightly burnt caramel, a touch of café au lait, shaved wood, cream and a touch of booze warmth. Sweet but dry at the same time. After more than 2 years in the bottle, this is a smooth, integrated classic with enough edgy under tastes to make it special.

Dense light tan head on a beautiful mahogany body. Nose has an array of fruity hops malt, booze and candied fruit. Lots of good things going on in the taste profile - slightly piney hop bitterness with some berries and grapefruit, roasted caramel malt, and some spice and pepper. Sweet but not cloying. A medium dense body. Classic American Barley Wine balances but not big enough to be an all-star.

Another well appreciated heavy weight. A classic caramel malt BW, but backed up by a hefty 80-plus IBUs of American hops. The barreling adds warmth and taste. Dark berries underneath the stronger tastes adds to the balance. Thick, heavily roasted malt remain the core of this excellent, rich BW.

355 ml can, as Great Divide Love and Lemons Lemonade Ale, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 5.0%. Slightly hazy golden colour, huge white head. Distinct aroma of lemon zest, some of it caramelized. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour is also dominated by lemon zest, weak malts in the background, low bitterness.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a tiny, off-white head. Tart aroma, perhaps not lemony as such. Light body, tart lemon and lime notes with a mouthdrying dry finish. No, it doesn't taste like a Radler. At all. 050925

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a slight tan ring. Aroma of milky coffee. Med plus body. Not dry. Flavor of milky coffee and brown sugar. Malt is rather obscured. A herbal note comes with time.
