Can at Beermalade tasting. Quite aromatic, lots of spiciness, clove, coriander, also assertive esters, with banana, a bit of red apples. Dry, very easy drinking, fresh feeling. Very good.

Bottle. Hazy orangeish amber colour with a small white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is biscuity, some herbal and floral tones with mild bready elements too. Flavour is fruity, some nectary, caramelly and some mild wooden and floral bitterness to it. Mellow bitter bite in the finish.

A big stovepipe can of Hazy Hercules Imperial IPA obtained from who knows where now. Great Divide, a good brewery, a hazy Imperial IPA, I am less enthused, sort of over the style, it had its moment. That is said, it's time to sample the beer. I see an indistinct, light yellow body with a heroic top of completely white foam. The scent is juice, hops and a bit of tropical. The drink, well, it is not bad. Very full, very complete in sensation with a taste of orange peel, a bit grapefruit, white bread, a touch of hoppy bitterness and meadow. Some sweetness, a decent offsetting bitterness, a nice brew.
