16 oz. can, pours jet black with a large light brown head. Nose is full of big roasted malt that's characteristic of the sublime base Yeti, with plenty of woody hops, and oak barrels. Flavour mostly allows that sublime base beer to shine, expressing tons of rich roasted malt, assertive woody hops, and perfectly calibrated oak barrels. That roast character is beautifully accentuated by the barrels, which more just come across as oak rather than any obvious whiskey character. Regardless of the timidity of the barrels, as a huge Yeti fan, this is superb.

Tall can. Very dark brown pour, near black, covered with a thick brown head. Light aroma of pumpkin spice, cinnamon and nutmeg, along with the heavy Yeti roast. Tastes rich and full of roast, light ash and hints of smoke. The pumpkin spices are there, but barely. Hard to knock it, cause I love the base beer, but expected more on the pumpkin spice side of things.

Can. Pours a jet black hue with a medium creamy brown head- looks awesome. A big sweet nose, roast, cocoa, licorice. Sweet core, the barrel brings in syrupy whiskey notes, licorice, some vanilla. Quite nice.

Very cool designed can. Festive. Pours a near jet black hue with a medium white head. A big sweet nose, roast, cocoa. Light mint. The flavor is sweeter than the regular Yeti, not too sweet, clear peppermint, the base is huge of course and holds up. Roast. Licorice. Solid.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out nutmeg, light cinnamon, herbal notes, and a touch of roast. Flavour is big time roasted but is rather herbal, with sole vegetal notes, some nutmeg and cinnamon. These adjuncts definitely ruin things. Far from my favourite Yeti variant.
