The dominant aromas are caramel and toast. There's plenty of pine and grapefruit in the mouth, with a strong aftertaste of honey. and a texture to match. Just a brilliant beer.

I'm not sure that a triple NEIPA can actually be a thing - you necessarily lose some of the subtlety by the time you reach 9% and it's really just an IIPA. But it's a very good IIPA, no doubt about that. Aromas of biscuit, caramel, pine and cream. It covers the tongue, with the pine needles rolling over the side of the tongue. The alcohol is well hidden, and it's very easy drinking for a nine percenter, with just a hint of warmth in the throat.

Pours muddy orange, very murky, almost swampy.Nose shows piny and resinous hops, spicy and herbal notes, peach, tangerine, heavy clean malt.Flavours include intense raw hops, literally green hop matter rather than the oils. An assertive bitterness follows, and a bit of clean sweet malt. Gets a bit buttery too.

From a 375ml can on 20/11/2020 (my can only says 'Phaze Out', no reference to 'In'). Pours a clearish medium golden with a small head. Has quite a strong fruity/resin/herbal nose. In the mouth, there's some caramel and biscuit malt, a fair bit of citrus (orange, lemon and lime), with some tropical undertones. Finishes with a firmish pine/resin bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This is a somewhat confusing beer as I can't identify any discernible NEIPA character to it. Way more WC IPA is every respect. Passable if seen in that context, but if you're looking for a NEIPA you may be quite disappointed.

2020 version. Can. Dark brown, no head. Aroma of dried bananas, bread, licorice, whiskey. Not that full bodied for 11% with medium low carbonation that's about right. Taste follows the aroma for a time but is aided by firm spicy bitterness and oak. The finish is encouraging.

Pours muddy clay-coloured with a small head.Nose show mango, pineapple and strong vanilla. Flavours include more vanilla, some dank, green and spicy hops, little else. The vanilla and the aggressive green hop bitterness don't really work together.

Can says 5.5% ABV. Clear reddish amber with a beige head that doesn't last that well. Aroma of brioche crust, light spices. Fairly rich with toffee studded biscuit and a little lick of bitterness at the end. The can mentions maple and it is there but perhaps by dint of suggestion. This is fine but a few more hops wouldn't have gone astray.

Can. Hazy yellow. Bit of melon on nose. Loads of vanilla in glass plus some green bitterness. Rather unusual, but actually pleasant.

Canbb 1/21. Clear amber with a small pale beige head that doesn't last. 3- Aroma of tropical chews, pine. Boozy, syrupy with low carbonation. Some strawberry lollies join the tropical ones in the taste before considerable relief comes from fairly grippy resin and bitterness. As intended? Didn't do much for me.
