About
The Establishment Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom located in Calgary’s Manchester Brewing District - an area perfect for brewery-hopping and was recently named Canadian Brewery of the Year for 2021 at the Canadian Brewing Awards and Alberta Brewery of the Year for 2021 at the Alberta Beer Awards. We are a band of friends and beer fanatics, united by one common goal: the proliferation of friendship through sharing stories and music over a beer. The taproom has a warm welcoming vibe with good tunes, house plants and beer snacks, surrounded by barrels that hold a variety of wild and sour beer creations that can take anywhere from three months to three years to mature. We brew flavourful and highly drinkable beers, from barrel-aged sours to hop-forward ales, European lagers, and everything in between.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy straw colour with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet fruity aroma of bready pale malt, grapefruit, orange peel, pineapple, mango, guava and piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of cracker malt, oats, orange, grapefruit, mango, guava, pineapple, pine resin and grass in a dry, mild bitter, weedy hop finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A bold, flavourful and crushable Session IPA.

chalky white color. Frothy creamy white head. Very nice zesty citrusy notes, brett notes, light body with some tea notes. Big tea and bergamot finish.All the additives stick out a lot, in fact a bit too much and should have been restrained a bit. Very dry but lacks a bit of bitterness.

hazy golden color. Big saline character with pickles and citrusy notes. Full body, lots of brett, but oak wasn’t over powering. Alcohol relatively well hidden. Slightly warming finish. Not everyone’s cup of tea but I kinda liked it.

brown color. Really nice off sweet chocolatey nose with a good roasted. Beautiful nose. Nice chocolatey mouth with some nuttiness. Very good take on the style

hazy purple pink color. Big lactose and blackberry and raspberry. Tart with big lactose and berry nose. Too much lactose but great fruit character.

spicy hoppy mouth with orange pekoe, grapefruit and mango and breadfruit in the nose. Not nearly as grassy as expected. Medium butters. Super quaffable. Love it.
