About
The Establishment Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom located in Calgary’s Manchester Brewing District - an area perfect for brewery-hopping and was recently named Canadian Brewery of the Year for 2021 at the Canadian Brewing Awards and Alberta Brewery of the Year for 2021 at the Alberta Beer Awards. We are a band of friends and beer fanatics, united by one common goal: the proliferation of friendship through sharing stories and music over a beer. The taproom has a warm welcoming vibe with good tunes, house plants and beer snacks, surrounded by barrels that hold a variety of wild and sour beer creations that can take anywhere from three months to three years to mature. We brew flavourful and highly drinkable beers, from barrel-aged sours to hop-forward ales, European lagers, and everything in between.

473ml can. Pours a clear gold yellow with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of grainy pale malt, lemon, floral and weedy hops. Sweet fruity flavour of crackery pale malt, tangerine, peach, cantaloupe, floral and grassy hops in a crisp, dry, bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. A clean, crushable and hoppy Pils.

473ml can. Pours a clear pale amber with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of toasted grainy malt and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted grainy malt, caramel, honey and spicy hops in a dry, bitter finish. Light body with an oily to watery texture and average carbonation. A little more hoppy than your typical British offering, but still enjoyable.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy pale straw colour with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, lemon zest, honeydew melon, pineapple and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, pineapple, mango and piney hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Juicy and crushable. A lot more flavour than I was expecting for such a low abv.

Sweet flavour of toasted biscuity malt, caramel, plum, raisin and spicy hops in a dry, bitter finish. Light body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Malt forward, tasty and crushable.
