From tap at City Beer Store, San Francisco. Aroma is strong wine barrel notes, tart cherry, pretty firm grainy malt, red wine, oak. Flavour is tart and mild sour with a unexpeced medium bitterness. Dry-ish finish. Nice, more bitter than I expected.

From tap at City Beer Store, San Francisco. Aroma is soft fruity hops and citrus with pale malt. Light sweet and medium bitter flavour. Body is medium. Simple but refreshing after a long city walk, nicely hopped for the style.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with a large creamy/foamy white head. Citrus wafts from the pour. Aroma is earthy/citrus. Med plus body or better. Flavor is juicy/earthy/dryish. Definitely bitter. There's citrus, white berry, melon, earth and I think many other things. It's pretty good.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours slightly translucent gold with a large white head. Aroma is earthy/citrus. Med body. Flavor is light caramel supporting citrus bitterness (moderate) with an earth note. Nice flavor.

Waxed, capped 500 from Cap Tap. A light gush from the bottle. Pours clear copper with a transient head. Aroma of malt and bourbon. Approaching full bodied. Flavor is the aroma with notes of floral and citrus. Not dry, but not sticky. Heat stands in for bitter. A very tasty thing indeed.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours clear gold with a large white head. Aroma of citrus, earth and weed. Med body at least. Flavor is the aroma with some passionfruit added. Very dry. More than moderately bitter. The malt support is quite subdued. Amazing flavor.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours clear, bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of melon, lime citrus, and a weed note. Med plus body. Flavor is the aroma with a hint of chili and earth. Pale malt support. Quite dry. More than moderately bitter. Even a tad astringent.
