Description
Established in 2011 and commenced in 2013 brewing using Kemptown Brewery equipment. We moved to our own premises in Brighton in early 2015. We love cask beer and recognise its importance within UK beer culture. We respect the historic importance of German and Belgian brewers. We embrace the attitude, ingredients and flavour profiles of modern progressive beer styles and breweries from North America and beyond.

Ceased trading June 2025. The related venues remained in business.

Cask, HP at Brighton Beer Dispensary. It pours lightly hazed gold with a thick, foamy white head. The nose is fresh, fruity, lemon peel, grapefruit, floral and soap. The taste is crisp, bitter, lightly astringent, lemon peel, big grapefruit hit, white pepper, white bread and a touch of soap with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. A touch soapy, but overall not bad.

Cask at Craft Beer Rising 2014 - Brick Lane, London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Good balance. Light grassy bitterness, pale bread, straw, citrus rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Moderately dry on the finish, with notes of pine, pale malt sugars, rindy citrus. Very decent. A nice sessioner.

On tap at Ravensgate Arms Ramsgate. Clear dark brown colour lasting bubbly beige head. Modern style brown ale. Arguably too hoppy. Certainly bitter on the finish. Some brown malt in the mouth. Hoppy finish.
