Description
Established in 2011 and commenced in 2013 brewing using Kemptown Brewery equipment. We moved to our own premises in Brighton in early 2015. We love cask beer and recognise its importance within UK beer culture. We respect the historic importance of German and Belgian brewers. We embrace the attitude, ingredients and flavour profiles of modern progressive beer styles and breweries from North America and beyond.

Cask at Hand in Hand Brighton. It pours black with a medium tan head. The nose is roasty, coffee, charcoal, ash, treacle, maple and permanent marker pen. The taste is bitter-sweet, mellow roast, coffee, earth, cocoa, maple, treacle and toast with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Interesting, flavoursome and well balanced. Decent stuff.
