0.5 l bottle as Soproni Kinizsi, 5,1% ABV. Its huge upside that it has no bigger downside. One od the not-too-bad macro lagers out there. Definitely better than the original soproni.

Can at home. Pours black with beige head. Nose is toffee, toasted malts, low chocolate. Taste is basically the same, somewhat sweetish, showing toasted and toffee notes with just a light roasted/earthy character (or perhaps just some dark chocolate) in the finish. Light body, soft carbonation.

Can. Opaque golden pour, white head. No promounced fruit character just some sweet mess, no trace of the esters nor the spices one would expect from the style. Bravo soproni, very well done.

Talán egy leheletnyivel jobb mint a klasszik soproni (értsd: nem olyan szar), de valami elképesztően jellegtelen. Nem voltak magas elvárásaim, de még azokat is sikerült alulmúlni, már szinte meglepő, hogy mennyire nincsen semmilyen karaktere.

On tap. Hazy, deep golden, no head. Smells and tastes like a strange hefeweizen. Short, sweet finish, soft carbonation. Not an unpleasant beer but don’t fit into its style at all.

I’ve had this one canned and bottled as well. Egy a néhány, még iható nagyüzemi lagerek közül itthon. Nem nagy eresztés, de azzal, hogy nincsen nagyobb hibája, felfelé lóg ki a többi közül.

Bottled. Pours deep hazy golden with white head. Its aroma is surprisingly good, hops and some fruits appear quite prominently. In taste, however, it’s not that sophisticated, some sweetness, some bitterness and slight vegetable-like notes are present. It’s great price is undeniable tho, quite appealing for quantity-drinking nights.
