Bottled. Clear dark nut brown. Heavily caramely nose. Sweet with full roasty maltiness and hard clean mouthfeel, notes of chocolate. It’s all about caramel. Low bitterness. With more character than most regular Hungarian beers it appears to be a weaker clone Dreher Bak.

Canned. Clear golden, rocky head. Raisiny wort aroma. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of menthe-like wort. No bitterness. Well, at least not worse than this brewery’s full strength beers.

Canned. Pale golden, small head. Evident aroma of nothig at all. Sweetish and sugary with notes of boiled vegetables, but really there are not a ot of flavour at all. No bitterness. A completely empty industrial swill lager.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of my colleague Kim Nørgaard. Clear, deep golden with a dense, white head leaving a neat lacework. Soft, malty nose. Thin-bodied with a soft mouthfeel, lightly sweet malts and a short, dry, lightly hoppy finish. Quite decent for a non-alcohol. 230807

Bottled (BB 11/2007)
Dark golden/light amber color, white head. Cut grass hoppy aroma. Light, watery palate with suprisingly evident Saaz-hoppy flavor there and long grassy aftertaste. Unfortunately that’s all this beer has to offer.

Bottled (BB 10/2007)
Light golden yellow color, decent white head. Papery malty nose. Light sweet malty, corn-like flavor. A bit fizzy in the finish. Cheap bulk lager, but the not the worst one in Huingary!
