Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon. This beer is a dark reddish-amber color with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark malt, fruit and chocolate. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruit and hops. The finish is semi-sweet fruit with a short malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draught. Fruity flavour with a fruity aroma. A good effort by a local brewery that is trying to escape boundaries. Good if you find it on draught.

Tap at Migration, Portland - 07/11/12. Lightly hazed mid amber with a decent sized frothy white head. Nose is pine forward ably assisted with a good dose of hops and bitter grapefruit/tropical fruit notes. Taste is pine up front, bitter grapefruit, light mango, touch of minerals. Medium bodied, soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish. Decent tasty APA!.

Tap at Migration, Portland - 07/11/12. Very dark mahogony brown bordering light black with a thin tan head. Nose is dark roast malts, molasses, chocolate and liqourice. Taste follows nose, roast malt forward, bitter chocolate. Medium bodied with slightly spritzy carbonation, a little too much for me. Ok - drinkable porter but nothing too exciting.

Tap at Migration, Portland - 07/11/12. Lightly hazed mid amber with a thinnish frothy white head which retained well. Nose is a fresh hop aroma, pine, bitter grapefruit, other tropical fruit notes. Taste follows nose, hoppy, piney, light citrus tones, grapefruit being the stand out fruit flavour. Medium bodied, light soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish. A great fresh tasting IPA!

Draught. Dark red with medium white head. Not much aroma, just a sweetish note. Beer improved as it warmed to a malty roastiness.

Draught. Red with thin white head. Faint grass aroma. Light bodied with a fuller flavour than you’d expect from a beer so low in alcohol. Lasting finish,

Sampled on tap for IIPA fest @ Saraveza (even though this is a single IPA - what an insult!), pours hazy golden orange. Aroma of orange, citrus hops and caramel malt backing. Flavour of muted tropical fruits, citrus hops and caramel malt. Kind of bland (though it could be because this was sampled after about 10 IIPAs), but solid.
