Can. Golden amber with a white head that lasts a while. Aroma of grapefruit, light biscuit, spices. A little body, moderate carbonation. Dryish with marmalade-like citrus, a little biscuit, moderately bitter at the end - thought I wanted a little more but it does creep up. Quite North Midlands and pretty good.

(Can) Pours clear deep amber brown with small off-white head. Nice aroma, mainly toffee malt with notes of vanilla and hints of tea. Medium body with bright carbonation. Toffee malt is the dominant flavour with some pleasant bitterness developing in the end. There’s an interesting mix of other flavours including herbs, tea and vanilla, and hints of stewed apples. Very pleasant

From a 375ml can on 7/10/2020. Pours not far off black with a medium tan head. The nose is roasty, oaky and boozy, with some light coffee notes. Tastes of dark chocolate and coffee, a hint of maple (but don't get any vanilla) with lots of roasted malt with some burnt flavour, along with a good dash of bourbony heat. Fullish body with moderate carbonation. This is a pretty full on and intense impy, and not overly sweet, with the barrel aged aspect dominating. Well made, but probably not my sort of impy. Worth trying if you like things on the more savoury side.

Can for #ratebeersupertasters. Very standard milk stout. Leans towards dry cocoa powder. Could do with more lactose to get that desired mouthfeel.

It’s got the nice turbid light amber white color with super thick froth white head on top. Really juicy mango and citrusy nose. Very smooth, medium carbonation, decent overripe mango with white gummy bears. Low medium bitterness. A bit too carbonated for the style but otherwise it nails things pretty well. This was also served fairly cold - I do fi is this style benefits from not being served ice cold. I am giving it 0.1 higher mark than I would in hopes it would be slightly better if it warmed.

Taster at Sydney beer festival. Black beer with frothy white head. Light milk cocoa nose, a little toast. Surprisingly dry and fizzy for a sweet stout. Finish is also dry and peppery. OK, but probably needs to warm up to reach full flavour.

Can into pint glass. Murky orange/amber beer with large frothy head and some tiny bubbles. A little lacing. Slightly smoky malt nose. Thin body, flat mouthfeel. Sour finish. Tastes just like a bog standard bitter you would get in any Northern English pub. So they nailed the brief but it's a boring style.

Schooner on tap at Beer Deluxe, Sydney. Hazy golden bronze beer with foamy white head. Sweet, minerally nose. Herbal and bitter taste leading to malt and late earthy bitterness. Nicely balanced, true to style. Solid and drinkable.
