Amber, bright, decent head. Sort of an odd coffee note, harsh and plasticy, this is just off in a lot of ways. Not at all a black IPA, but that's the least of its problems.

Has some bitterness, sticky malts but it doesn'�t come together at all. Just a mess.

Pale, there'�s a slight haze. Bitter, light fruitiness, decent malt balance. Not great. Almost drinkable, in fact.

Pale amber, light hop nose, on the palate kind of harsh, bitterness. Ok, this isn't coming together at all.

Dark brown, thin head, choclatey, nice sweet. Not bad actually. The only beer on the flight that didn't suck.

On tap at Perihelion, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweaty, tired hops, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is full of armpits, sweat socks, and just bad hops. Not sure what went wrong here but the hop expression isn't good.

On tap at Perihelion, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is moderately roasted, with earthy notes and toasted malt. Flavour is roasty, with a nice roasted malt character, ample hoppy bitterness, and a touch of dusty cocoa. Nice roasted character. Pleasant porter.

On tap at Perihelion, pours a clear dark reddish amber with a medium beige head. Aroma doesn't smell right — earthy notes, some plasticy notes, ugh. Flavour is a disaster, with plastic notes, hop bitterness, and crisp biscuity malt. Plasticy, bitter. How is this a black IPA, let alone a sellable beer. Very poor.

On tap at Perihelion, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma is full of bubblegum, estery notes and some plastic — all sorts of fermentation issues here. Flavour has similar problems, with bubblegum, plastic, and estery sweetness. Poorly fermented, all sorts of issues here.

On tap at Perihelion, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is off, with totally messed up hops — sulphuric maybe — with all sorts of other chaotic notes. Flavour is all wrong, with farty, sweaty hops, some sulphur, and earthy cardboard notes. The fermentation is all wrong. Very poor.
