Geprobeerd op een bier tasting bij Keukeman, het is een troebel geel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mout en hop. De smaak is moutig, grassig en hoppig.

Bottle from the brewpub in Livigno. Hazy black, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of tobacco, cigarette smoke, cold mocha, burnt mocha biscuit, toast, chocolate nibs. Taste has sweetish roasted maltiness of toast & dark chocolate, a bit nutty, low in cream, bitter earthy backbone. Earthy hoppy & toasty finish, more pronounced tobacco & cigarette ash, still somewhat creamy coffee-like. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rounded Sweet Stout at only 5.4%, I like the tobacco accent. Well done.

21 September 2020. At 1816 Beer Pub, Livigno. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear amber, slowly dissipating, tan head. Aroma of blown-out match, biscuit, burnt cake, plum, peanuts, fig, toffee. Taste has sweetish plum, fig & toffee, cake-like malt with a nutty accent, subtly smoky throughout. Herbal hoppy finish, wood, smoke & toffee. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Smoked Amber Ale perhaps?

21 September 2020. At 1816 Beer Pub, Livigno. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy yellow, stable, thin, foamy, white head. Aroma of ripe banana, apple peel, nutmeg, wheat, white bread. Taste has sweetish banana & apple, sourish wheat yet weirdly lactic too, something that hints at spoiled fruit, yeast & citrus. Floral hoppy finish, wheaty, banana lingering but weirdly tart too. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Something is strangely off here, a 'nope' for me.

21 September 2020. At 1816 Beer Pub, Livigno. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear yellow, lasting, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of mandarin, peach, pineapple, pomelo, dough, vague herbs. Taste has sweetish mandarin & pomelo, softly bitter grapefruit peel over doughy malts. Earthy hoppy finish, subtle tropical fruit, citrus & grapefruit. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Best effort I've tried here.

21 September 2020. At 1816 Beer Pub, Livigno. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy golden, lasting, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of honey, apricot, vanilla, cereal, biscuit, kitchen herbs. Taste has sweet pear, apricot & honey-bready malts, herbal & grassy bitter edge. Yeasty-spicy, herbal hoppy finish, sweet malts lingering. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Drinkable, that's about it.
