Can, pint 568ml, beer gift from BeerViking, shared with Finn on a train bound for Birmingham. Clear amber body, rings of lace, firm white head. Distant smell of mid-sweet pale malts. Subdued taste profile of soft malt, mid-sweet, some distant ripe fruit to it. Drying ending. Easy going. (On the train, 13.02.2023).

Trade med BeerViking. Delt med Rune på tog mellom London & Birmingham. Mørk gylden. Høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Klar. Lett maltaroma. Smaken tydligere maltpreg. Karamellaktig. Lett tørr bitter avslutning.

Brewed in Mönchengladbach. Malty apple and caramel aroma. Sweetish and medium bodied. Some hopbitterness, but also metal and butterscotch. Nasty bitter aftertaste. Almost a drain pour.

0.75 l can, best before September 2018. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains and some straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, moderately grassy taste of grains, some straw and a touch of honey, followed by a short, quite dry-bitter, moderately grassy and slightly metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Brewed in Hamburg. Piana ladna jak przy dobrym pilsnerze, niestety blyskawicznie opada ale na szczescie nieco swojej obecnosci na pokalu pozostawia. Kolor jasno miedziany, smak i zapach delikatny. Nieco toffi i krowki mlecznej i karmelu. Pod koniec lekka goryczka. Bardzo srednie piwo.

Can. Clear amber/copper featuring a small white head. Aroma of malts, grains, straw, metal and some spice. Taste of malts, caramel, grains, a little bit of spice and metal. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Süffig but somehow feels more boozy than it actually is. Used to be a staple in my father’s fridge at this time of the year so l’ll add some extra points for nostalgia‘s sake. However I deduct those points immediately for the sole reason that they feel (have)the need to market this as a Pils.

Lustige 0,75 Dose vom Kaufland - da konnte ich nicht nein sagen. Optisch etwas dunkel, wenig Perlen, Schaum passt. In der Nase leicht malzig, im Trunk etwas maischig, im Angang sehr wässrig mit unschönen Bitternoten. Grenzwertig.
