Bottle. Pours hazy amber with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of hops and alcohol in the long nose. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish notes of malt and fruity and estery touches. Bitter and acetic aftertaste with estery hints. Okay butnothing special

Bottle, 5.2%. Ashy aroma. Cloudy amber colour, sparkling. Big stable white head. The flavour is nicely malty with a good yeast note. Also a good mouthfeel. The finish is less impressive, though, citric and vinous with a yeast note that is less pleasant than in the beginning.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark copper brown with shades of ruby and airy light tan head. Clear aroma of roast and hops, with notes of malt and nuts. Bitter flavour of roast and hops, with sweetish touches of caramel malt and hints of nuts. Roasty and estery aftertaste with some sourish hints. Quite lively carbonation, but the body is thin to medium. Not bad, quite easily drinkable, but nothing really impressive. My rating #3600.

Bottle, 4.7%. Good peachy and grapefruity aroma, hint of citrus and/or urine. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is yeasty and fruity at first. Has a little of the same citrus/urine note as the aroma. Tastes OK, but has a strange maltiness as from underattenuated sugars. The hops make up for it partially.

this is terrorist material. I opened the bottle and out came as in some kind of insane fireworks display , just about 1/3rd of the bottled beer in a artistic mix of foam and beer. splurged all over my not so cleaned up desk and on down to my now not so clean pants and my now pretty well mopped up floor. WTF.. amateurs... anyway... dark brown, small light brown head. aroma of nutty roasted malts primarily, a spicy note that could be spices, could be off flavor from fermentation, and not much else. still, given this is a belgian take on brewing, quite okay aroma, and a little wild is allowed. Appearance gets 1 bc i have to change pants now. flavor is roasted malts, mind spicy note, burnt caramel, full flavored, not that bad in fact. Overall a decent take on belgian double, and no beligan gusher is left behind with this one, which should have some kind of warning on the label.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, dark nutty brown. For once a decent and stable head in a Kongebryg beer - a pretty almost creamy beige. Subtle roast in the nose, a little nutty. Medium-bodied, sweet roast and nuts, a slight ashy note and a dry finish. But actually a pretty straight up and quaffable Brown Ale. 270115

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a fizzy, dissipating white head. Aroma of sweet hops - and little else. Hardly any hop impact. Medium body, again sweet malt and little else, perhaps a whiff of some subdued European hops. Hardly any bitterness. Very, very bland. 270115

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque brown with a fizzy, beige head that disappears in no time. Way over carbonated. Sweet aroma of nuts and brown sugar. Medium body, very toffeeish and sweet with only a hint of yeast or dried fruit. Not so bad but lacking some complexity and the carbonation is way over the top. 260115
