Keg at the brewery; murky yellow pour with a thin white head, aroma has citrus, taste has mellow malts, some lemon, biscuits malts, some pineapple, brett undertones. It was a unamed beer and Lizzy chose the name so we’ll look forward to chapter 02

Bottle at home, picked up from the brewery, 27/05/17. Hazed golden orange with a well appointed off white head of bubbles. Nose is pissy apricot, lemon rind, straw, toasted grains, light yeast notes, faint spice. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, sharp citric peel, saison yeast, light white peppery spice, grassy, light herbal notes. Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, crisp drying close. Decent saison ... crisp and refreshing.
