Can. Light haze on this gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, good fine crispness. Light malts, mildly sweet, a little light malt cream. Hops are bitterish and bring mellow skunk. Spicy pine. Citric peel bitterness. Good tropical fruits on the back end, ripe mango rising above the crowd. More hop spice on the semi dry finish. Comes together very well indeed. Would be nice to know what hops were used. I would guess Galaxy, Ella and maybe Summer. What a treat to get good and fresh beers from down under.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Dark orange. Light haze. Super sticky, film of white head. Nose has baked, syrupy orange. Minty toffee. Notes of gluey pine. Pretty old school. Or is it just old? Whichever, it’s fine by me. Taste is chewy sweet, with lots of oily, citrus, pine bitterness. Medium to full body. Piny, oily bitter finish. Very decent.

Can. Bier Huis, Ossett. Orange gold. Light haze. Frothy, pale cream coloured head that recedes to a film. Nose has fairly bright, ripe citrus. Some melon and nectarine. Background of chewy toffee. Taste is light, citrus pith bitterness. A touch mineraly and metallic. Light body. Dries out a little. Pithy bitter finish. Packs it in well for the ABV.
