355mL can, pours a hazy golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out dry crackery malt and dry dusty hopping. Flavour is along the same lines, with crisp dry crackery malt and punch dry hopping. Nicely balanced, with a very dry palate that makes this quite drinkable. Better than the average rating suggests.

Can. Orangey gold with a loose white head. Aroma of grapefruit, apricots, biscuit, a little pine. Light bodied. A little hay and biscuit, stone fruit and grapefruit, dry and spicy with moderate bitterness at the end. Any charm in the malt side of things has little chance to shine, but this is pretty good and a bit of a pick-me-up.

355ml can into shaker. Collaboration with Hilltop Hoods (apparently). Lovely golden colour, two finger frothy white head, light carbonation. Soft aroma of malt, pepper and citrus. Zingy and metallic in the mouth. Finish is a bit funky(!) and grainy with late tin and bitter lemon. Quite harsh for a golden ale. A bit of a disappointment (for THIS brewery). Songs listened to: The Nosebleed Section, Cosby Sweater, The Hard Road.

500mL can, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Nose brings out loads of piney hops upfront, backed by dry biscuity malt. Flavour brings out truckloads of piney hops, backed by light biscuity malt. Potent and yet wonderfully refined. I wish all Aussie beers were this excellent.

On tap at Hart's Pub, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle piney hops upfront, with just enough biscuity malt to back. Flavour is a more laid back one for an IPA, with gentle piney hops and crisp crackery malt to back that's fairly prominent. Dry and crisp, with a slightly piney finish. Very good.

From a 355ml can on 6/5/2016. Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a small hea. The nose is quite floral and grassy. Take a sip and you get biscuity malt, lots of citrus fruit, with lemon dominating, and some apricot. The hops are pretty big and intense, a touch spicy, and linger in the mouth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A pretty tasty, quite bold APA.
