From a 355ml can on 15/11/2023. Pours a clear light golden with barely any head. Has a bright citrus and pine nose. Very citrus dominated, with oodles of orange, lemon and lime, finishing with a firm, quite dry bitterness featuring lots of pine and grapefruit. Fullish body with average carbonation. A really clean and tasty little WC.

Can. Misted gold with a thick white head that soon fades to less than a coat. Aroma is doughy and somewhat earthy with coriander, clove, white pepper. Malty but lighter in body and not as sweet as expected with hard spices and a fair bit of bitterness. Pretty good

Pale yellow gold with a loose white head. Lemon and grapefruit aroma is a tad bathroom product. Hayish malt with a little sweetness but little else, lots of citrus, hints of pine. The fruit is a bit travel lolly. Dry, moderately bitter finish. Much prefer their California Pale to this.

Can. Pretty murky amber with a white head that fades to around a cm. Aroma of pineapple, mango skin, pine, light biscuit. Somewhat soft textured with vague biscuity sweetness, then lots of mostly tropical fruit before a fairly bitter end. Couldn't decide whether to add this as a NEIPA and I'm still not sure. Good.

So, it's a ginger stout, but if you served it to me blind, I would have said it was cola flavoured. Yes, I do get the ginger flavour eventually, but the chocolate remains hard to find. It's not my cup of tea.

330ml can at Hops and Malt, Taps Beer Bar, Oct 23. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a big lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, malt, light herbal citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Not bad as far as lagers go.

Can 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, beige head. Oxidized, roasty aroma, some chocolate and wood. Rich body, roastiness, wood and chocolate, some tannins and a warming alcohol finish. A bit rustic and messy. 250923

Can. Very hazy orange with a white head that settles to 2cm. 3+ Lots of pithy orange in the aroma with crackers and some grassy and herbal notes. 7+ Moderately sweet and perhaps a little cleaner than the murk suggests with lot s of orange, some tropical fruit tingles and gentle menthol-laced herbal bitter finish.

Can. Moderately hazy yellowish orange with small white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, mandarin, crackers. So it tastes - moderately sweet and very fruity with little bitterness at the end but a little woody note. OK but doesn't really go anywhere.

Keg at The Stolen Gem bar, Melbourne. Just what you'd want after a presentation. A light, quaffable, well dry hopped pale ale that goes down easy. Pretty looking.
