Clear brown, light beige head. Caramely, malty aroma, some dried fruit. Caramely flavour, malty with a little brown sugar. Not very christmas-y other than the fact that Danish supermarkets believe Belgian darks to be Christmas beers... Straight forward and nice.

Bottle, 7.2%. Good aroma of caramel, biscuit, and dark malts. Almost clear dark brown colour. Good stable off-white head. The flavour starts off quite sweet and has a decent amount of dark caramel along with brown sugar, toasted malts, biscuit. Hint of alcohol, but leans towards a malty expression.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours brown with an orange hue and a small and lacing, beige head. Aroma of dark, dried fruits, subtle spices and Belgian yeast. Rich, fatty, caramelly body woth brown sugars and molasses and a warming finish. Not ovedone on the spices. An excellent Xmas beer. 091125
