Het moet echter gezegd, we zijn meer dan een brouwerij. De Mortselarij is een community van gelijkgezinden, amigos en funky liaisons. Het geheel is veel meer dan de som der delen. We inspireren elkaar wederzijds en dat is ook onze kracht. Brouwen is ons vak, mensen samenbrengen onze passie. Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, large white head. Aroma: Yeasty, hoppy notes, citrus. Taste: Hoppy, citrus, lemon notes, yeasty, subtle spicy. Medium body, just above average carbonation. Moderate sweet, slightly tart, over moderate bitterness. Ok.

Bottle. Color: Hazy yellow, large frothy white head. Aroma: Malty, hints of stone fruit. Taste: Malty, yeasty notes, some stone fruit and citrus fruit, subtle spicy notes. Light to moderate sweetness, hoppy backbone with light bitterness. Refreshing. Nice.

Bottle. Color: Black, very thin beige head. Aroma: Sweetish, raisins, almond, malty, Whisky. Taste: Sweetish, Whisky, vanilla, roasted malt, caramel-chocolate fudge, boozy notes, some almond. Medium to over medium body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Well balanced, nice complexity. Nice one.

Almost clear deep golden beer with a big white head. Aroma of mild herbal pale malt, straw, yeast. Taste of moderate herbal pale malt, straw and grains, belgian yeast, high carbonation.

Almost black with quick fading thin head. There's a base note of dark malt and a little coffee. Primarily peated whisky in the taste. Warming and boozy. Ash, smoke and lots of leather. Aftertaste lingers for minutes.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of whisky. Sweet and malty. The roastiness of the standard version is subdued but the flavour remains Intense.

Very dark brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have loads of roasted malts. There's also an element of dried fruits and Belgian yeast. Aftertaste is powdery cocoa.

--Bottled at Pressklubben, Stockholm. -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of brown sugar and caramel. Sweet with medium to full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Brown sugar, bread and marzipan. Low bitterness.
