Bottle, 4.9%. Almost clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is malty, papery. Has a bit of grapefruit, OK clean. Tastes more like a Zwickel than pils, but not bad.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear light yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy citrus, artificial citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, cardboard, citrus, artificial sweet citrus - sugar. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20101019]

bottle, bought at a drinks market in Steinach im Kinzigtal. Clear golden yellow, mid-s´ized white head. Malty nose. Pleasantly malty, slightly hoppy in the background. Hints of buttermilk and cream. Smooth mouthfeel. Quite nice for a cheap brew.

Bottle, 4.9% as Ratskrone Export. Distinct hop aroma, vegetable and herbs. Clear yellow coour. Very small white head. OK malty flavour, a little vegetable and chalk. Not entirely clean, but OK.

previously tested on BTO 04/2007: Malziger Duft, schmeckt malzig-röstmalzig und süßlich. Zwar ordentlich würziger Mittelteil, aber insgesamt doch recht wässrig für 5,6%, besonders Abgang und Nachgeschmack dürften viel kräftiger sein.

Tap. Slightly sour wheat malt, banana, and clove aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with moderate head. Slightly sour wheat and light banana/clove flavor. More sour than the typical Hefe - a nice one.
