Bottle as Ratskrone Export. Looks very much like a cheap beer. Tastes the same: a little bit spicy, too sourish and vapid finish. Not good!

Bottle: Poured a golden color with a huge fluffy white head. There is a sweet grass and hops aroma to this beer. Taste is sweet with a metal attribute to it, there is a copper finish.

From tap at Burger King in Rome :D, the hefe-weizen was sadly gone. Pours dark orange to brown with a lacing white head. Slight cloudy look. Malty aroma with a mild acidic note. Flavour is smooth malt with a light spice note lending itself into a mild breadish touch. Light hoppy bitterness into the finish. Decent märzen but as many beers in Italy, too malt flavoured and too much alcohol.

Test vom 31.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,7,6,8,6 - 6,45

The bottle looks good, but a little bit complex. The beer in the glass is good, but too less foam. The beer starts very vapid, in the middle a little bit sweet and malry, the finish is vapid and washy too. An average beer.

Bottled, thanks jeverszeuge! Bright golden, small head. Light lemony nose. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel. Primitive straight forward malt character, clumsily hidden in some perfumy soap and very light resiny hops.

Bottled, thanks jeverszeuge Muddy pale yellow, brief head. Fruity citric nose. Fairly sweet and medium bodied with rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Some bubblegum and vanilla, but the use of champagne yeast has given this wheat beer completely different flavour and mouthfeel than an ordinary hefeweizen. Some of the gain in terms of unusual complex flavour is lost on the drinkability.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, quickly diminishing medium-sized white head; distinctive grainy and honeyish-fruity nose with a faint, faint tinge of toasted malt and hops in the wings; medium bodied, solid bitter-sweet flavour; sweet honeyish and spicy finish. A well rounded, very decent brew........

(bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck!) Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a medium-sized, non-persistent foamy white head. Slightly dusty, sweet malty, honey-fruity aroma with a light toasted note and a whiff of hops. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied. Malt-accented, grainy taste, slightly toasted; again with honey-fruity notes; sweet, delicately bitter finish. Pleasant, well-rounded brew.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden with a handsome head. Marked hoppy aroma with the hops also adding a solid dose of bitterness. Good standard pilsener. 310502
