Light pale-orange, yellow body, chill haze and a persistent, yet small, white head. Aroma of soft, earthy hops, bit of nuttiness and some easygoing pale malt. Dried fruit in the aroma as well. Flavor is quite unique, bits of graininess, dusty/earthy notes, lots of moss, which I have underlined twice in my notes. Creamy maltiness, lots of citrus. Extremely drinkable. Medium-light body, low wateriness. The people with whom I was talking kept commenting that this wasnt as good as their previous samples with it because it lacked a funky, farmy, nose to it, but not having had this before, I thought it great.

An orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of lemongrass and candy. The flavor is dry and spicy with notes of candy (acidic drops), lemongrass, and lemon. But the body is thin.

Pale bright looking beer with a good dryly hopped aroma and a vineous dry flavour. Overall a nice dry strongish beer.

The near black body is easily penetrated by light - foamy, but small head, with moderate lacing - you need to take really deep sniffs to get the aroma out of this one - smells like chocolate, sea salt, and faint roasted malts - very low carbonation, and a highly chalky mouthfeel - this, coupled with the sea salt qualities of the aroma, makes me feel like I’m licking the cliffs of Dover - the flavor is of a standard, middle of the road stout (roasty, slight coffee, toffee, etc.), but it is fairly weak, and by the time the finish comes around, there is almost nothing left but the taste of chalk and minerals - unless you’re gunning for a spot in the stouties, I’d pass this one by.

Nice malt aroma. Dark brown with pale brown head. Not much carbonation - almost like a pulled beer with a nicely sweet malty flavor. A very nice beer.

Sweet hops/malt aroma. Immediate strong hops flavor - smacks you in the face. Light hops and honey notes. A nice golden ale.

This ale pours a pale yellow with next to no head. It smells slightly like a sewage treatment facility. Slight hints of grain with some sugar. Initial taste smooth but watery and metallic. Lacking in flavour. The flavour you do get is grassy with a hint of yeast. The palate is a little bitter but nothing to speak of.

Bottle: Poured a gold colored beer with a standard head with above average retention. Carbonation is quite good and body is a bit thin. Aroma is lovely with a mix of floral hops and nice strong malt. Taste is very refreshing with some sweetness kicking first and ending with a slight bitterness. Overall, this is an above average English ale and very refreshing for the summertime.
