Bottle from the Polish shop opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Golden with next to no head. Heavily honeyed lager with a very dry taste that gives it herbal overtones.

Barwa złota, lekko zmętniona. Piana średnia, dość trwała, bez szczególnego koronkowania. Aromat słodowy, lekko chmielowy, typowy, choć w miarę przyjemny. Smak to słodowość i dość spora goryczka, lekko trąci wilgotną piwnicą, ale to lekko. Wysycenie dość wysokie, średnia pełnia, nie wyczuwalny alkohol. Porządny jasny lager, bez szału, ale pijalny, w swojej półce cenowej jedno z lepszych piw.

Barwa bursztynowa, lekkie zmętnienie. Piana dość obfita i w miarę trwała. Bardzo silny aromat amerykańskich chmieli, cytrusy, troszkę ziołowości. Smak to lekko kwaskowe, intensywnie chmielowe, leciutka metaliczność, wysoka goryczka, nieco zalegająca. Dość wysokie wysycenie, bardzo pijalne.

Bottle at 23.02.2012. Dark brown, almost black, slightly brownish foam. Aroma: sweet mixture of malts (roasted and caramel) + dried fruits. Taste: malt-wine, roasted malt with black coffee, some dark chocolate.

Bottle. Aroma spicy, cardamom. Interesting. Hazy amber colour. Taste is disturbingly full bodied, too much sweetness, but somehow bitterness remains on top. Lots of hoppy flavour, spicy. Tasty, though would be much better if properly attenuated. Interesting nonetheless.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Marcin, shared with colleagues. Pours pitch black with thin creamy light brown head and fair lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, honey and alcohol. Taste starts with rich and sweet roasted malt with notes of chocolate and caramel, follows by licorice and dried fruits’ acidity, mouthfeel is warming and mild spicy, while finish is bitter. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Rich, strong and bold...

BOTTLE 50 CL. Hazy golden, white frothy head. Rustic malty and bready aroma, unripe fruit tartness. The taste is malty and fruity, sweet bread, light but harsh aspirin-like bitter finish. Soft mouthfeel, some diacetyl. Not bad.

Bottle kindly delivered by MisoW. Amber color with medium off-white head. Citrus hoppy aroma, with butterscotch, malt. Taste, grapefruit, grapefruit zest, mango, toffee, solid malty backbone. Medium long hoppy bitter finish.
