33cl Fles, treinbier. Troebele oranje kleur, witte kraag. Veel gist, hint van plastic, flink gehopt, citrus, licht harsig, licht moutig, bitter. Te gistig om echt lekker te zijn, beetje homebrew-ish, heeft wel enige potentie.

Explosive gushing to towering glass of white foam, finally yielding some red-highlighted deep dark brown beer, under lots of lace. Sour chocolate, oak, chocolate with lactic acid and... infection? Ashy, dark chocolate, tad vinous, dark malts' galore, and again lactic acid. Fatty acids, peanuts. Feels better bodied than it probably is. Really slick, good (way too...) carbonation. One of those beers where it is impossible to determine whether it is hit or miss. Txs to Stef!

330ml bottle [slight gusher]. Murky, yellow-ish, golden colour with huge, frothy collapsing, white head. Fruity aroma, notes of raspberry, raspberry syrup, fruit acid, citric acid, wheaty malty background. Taste is sweet-ish and tart-ish fruity, notes of raspberry, raspberry syrup, a touch of fruit acid, wheaty malty basis. Minimally mushy, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally astringent palate, medium, soft to flat carbonation (probably outspent with gushing). Not really re-(fresh-)ing, a bit monotonous - experimental indeed.

Sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally alcoholic and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of caramel, toffee, a touch of yellow stone fruit. Taste is sweet and alcoholic, caramel malty, minimally yeasty fruity, notes of toffee and caramel, a touch of yellow stone fruit; warming, alcoholic finish. Slightly creamy texture, creamy, slightly cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Quite sweet, a bit monotonous, minimally overcarbonated, nice toffee flavours - OK.

2/3 of the glass full of light-amberish cream coloured head over a tad of very dark ruby beer. Aromatic, bit heavy with felt, velvet, old wood, moss, and dark malts, melanoidins. Bitter, even sharp-ish flavour, dark malts, melanoidin-filled. Metallic, and again this felt/moss flavours, undergrowth, wet wood. Malt-dominated, if nowhere bereft of hops. Well-bodied if not heavy, slick and near overcarbonated. Not half bad! Not very German in character, but nothing the less for it. Txs to Stef!
