About
Established in 1895 by Wilhelm Berentsen. Client brewery in the 1990s, beers brewed in Trondheim by Tromi Bryggeri. Today run by 4th and 5th generation. Egersund Mineralvandfabrikk A/S changed name to Berentsens Brygghus in 2003. First beers brewed by Aass Bryggeri, Berentsens commenced brewing in the autumn 2004.

(330 ml bottle). Deep copper brown colour, darker than most Norwegian "klasse D" grocery store juleøl (Christmas/Yule beers), moderate head. Malty aroma. Clean malty flavour, not too sweet, thin mouthfeel as expected, not very complex. OKish.

(500 ml can). Another contract brewed pils from Aass, standard pils golden colour, good head, light flowery aroma, clean and spritzy flavour (as far as there is any flavour at all), nothing offensive, moderate hops in aftertaste. A run of the mill pils.
