This is very complex - treacly, with port-like flavours and aromas, a rich dark fruit character, an oily body, and a touch of dark chocolate as well. A top five porter.

There are two versions of this beer - one brewed in Estonia by Tartu, the other in England by Harvey. If you've ever had the regular Harvey Porter, then you know they brew a mean porter. This is no exception. An excellent of example of the Baltic Porter style, with tremendous depth and complexity

Appropriately opaque black. Sweetish scent, like an Imperial stout almost. Disappointingly thin and watery, with a slight sweet flavor. As it approached room temp, a caramel-malt flavor became much more developed, but it remained thin and unappetizing. Its drinkable, but I chose not to finish it.

A very good beer - I almost came away from this one with a new favorite. It has a nice floral hoppy aroma and sweet and floral flavor. I downed the glass quite quickly and wished I had bought a second bottle - and for sure I will.
