Bottle at the hotel in Sofia - picked up at 1001 Beers. Pours hazy brown with a fluffy, tan head. Nice aroma, decentnroast, burnt toasted brown bread, orange peel, hints of pine. Medium sweet flavour, lots of restrained cocoa character, nips of black pepper, background brown bread and roast, mellow earthy bitterness. Medium. I died, slightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with mellow warmth, more inklings of black pepper, sweet cocoa, brown bread, subdued roast. Quite a good, well rounded and interesting CDA.

On tap at Drunken Duck, Quinto Vicentino. Pours cloudy golden with medium white head. Malty, some vague citrus notes, light hoppiness, bit yeasty, sweetish. Light bodied.

Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il citrico. L'olfatto viene sollecitato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una scarsa tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto. L'intensità gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Al palato arrivano note di miele, agrumi, banana e spezie.
