Aroma is moderate yeasty, rubber - gum, banana notes. Flavor is moderate sweet (banana - rubber sweet) with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (180708)

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of wheat as well as medium notes of banana and cloves. The flavor is also very sweet - a bit too sweet for my liking with strong notes of wheat and medium notes of bread, oranges, and cloves as well as light notes of banana. The body is medium.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours murky orange with a lacing white head. Wheaty and sweet caramel malt aroma. Sweet banana fruity flavour. Very sweet and slight breadish. Flavour also holds a light orange peel note. Light yeasty note into the finish. Very wellhidden alcohol yet not too thin nor watery - flavourful. Sweet finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear, deep copper beer with a minimal beige head. Toffee, borderline butterscotch, aroma with some fruityness. Toffeeish flavor as well, also here with some fruityness, and there’s also some bitterness and a roasted note. Decent bitterness in the finish. Medium body. I’ll have Newcastle Brown Ale instead of this one any day. Having tasted most of the brewerys beer, it’s evident that they do not aim at the conoisseur market, as theire beers are very boring. From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a crispy and lasting white head. Slight floral/fruity nose with a soft maltbase present. Flavour is also orange fruity. Rather thin bodied and light as such. Not as bitter a finish as expected, quite newcomer friendly brew, bland in my palate.

100ml draught at the brewpub. Nice rusty-brown body. Missing head. Brittle caramel to the nose. Sharp dark caramel taste that ends up in a rather anonymous drink with a thin and watery mouthfeel (Copenhagen, 02.08.2007).

100ml at tap. Clear red-amber body under a low-level white head. Fruity-malty aroma and taste. Notes of spicies and hops in tha taste. Watered palate. Not distasteful, but rather tasteless (Vesterbro bryghus, Copenhagen 02.08.2007).

100ml on tap. Hazy amber body. Missing head. Vague aroma of clove and late fruits. The same goes for the flavour with additional sweetness. Average wheat beet, I would say (Vesterbro Bryghus, Copenhagen 02.08.2007).

Sample from tap at the brewpub. Pours brown with an amber hue, little lacework. Sweet light caramel malty and hoppy floral aroma. Strong caramel malt and aroma hops mixed flavour. Decent bitterness in the finish with a lasting caramel malt note. Last of the samples, again decent and better than expected. They surely lack creativity, these are all standard lagers and ales, but they are solid from what I tasted - this may not be the case every time I guess. It seems they have problems producing the same beer in a consistent manor when looking at the prior ratings to mine, scores go up and down.

Sample from tap at the brewpub. Pours amber brown with a little lacing head. Lovely strong caramel toffee aroma. Candy like flavoured of toffee and caramel, decently sweet but not overdone. Caramel finish with a little bitter twist. Either they have improved or this is underrated, it wasn’t nearly as bad as expected.
