An unclear dark orange beer with next to no head. The aroma has slight notes of wheat combined with chemical cleaning fluids - I sure hope nothing is in the beer. The flavor is sweet wheaty in a very boring way, leading to a dry wheaty end. And the body is even thin.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy amber/orange colour with a small white head. Lots of bananas and fruits in the aroma. Malty wheat and banana flavor. Lots of bananas in the aftertaste.

Tap at brewpub. No head. Cloudy (should be) amber colour. Heavy alright yeasty aroma. Tastes like hefe should. Light bitter. Average finish. Creamy palate. Too expensive.

(On tap) Hazy, dark amber - absolutely no head (I believe it’s harder to make a Hefe without head than with it - so wauw). Distinct yeasty aroma. Medium body with distinct accents of banana and yeast. Extremely dry phenol-like finish. 060706

On tap av Cph Beerfestival. Lightly un-clear orange-brown ale with a beige head. Weak on the nose, with light roasted malt, hops and a sourness. Weak on flavor too, malt and hops and a little fruityness. Thin body and a dry finish. Is Vesterbro just in it for the money, or is the love of beer present? I suspect the lust for money rules, as the beers tend to be of discount-quality. Rating: 4-3-4-3-9-2.3 (060519)

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2006. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Malty aroma with some hints of hops. Flavor is malty with some hoppy hints. Malty finish with no bitterness.

An unclear amber beer - You can’t tell this is a brown ale, this is the lightest hued Brown Ale I’ve ever had - with a thin off-white head. The aroma is very light - with light notes of caramel and fruit. The flavor is sweet brewmashy - for a moment I thought I was across the street at Apollo - since it has the same notes of yeast. The end is dry and bitter, but where are the nutty notes. This is far from being a brown ale. Don’t let a German brewmaster brew a Brown Ale, but it is still top of the line for the brewpub - frightening....
