Description
Authentically different. There are no other words that carry more weight than these at Lock 27 Brewing. Regardless of whether it’s the broad range of Lock 27 house beers, the diversity of our scratch-made menu from our gastropub kitchen, or all the fun we have in our daily routine, I encourage everyone on our staff to always question conventional wisdom. Always look for new ways of doing. Always find new things to try.

Not just for the sake of different, but for the sake of creating something extraordinary.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a cloudy peach-yellow color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, melon, herbal hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a juicy fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Pours very dark with a beige head. Malty chocolate, lightly roasted malts, some burnt sugar, too. Slick and full mouth. Good brew.

Clear copper with a white head. Round malts standout the most. Plenty of hop burn but lacking much hop flavor. Some lingering hops in the background. Decent but the flavor seems a bit restrained.

Dark copper red with a white head. Aroma has strong C hop notes and plenty of doughy malt. The flavor is mostly toasted malt with the hop flavor mostly drowned out. Lots of bitterness in the finish. Decent but could use a bit more hop flavor.
