0.33 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', bottled in October 2024. Very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity, slightly yeasty and even a bit vinous aroma of raisins, cherry, molasses and hints of red wine. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly vinous-fruity taste of molasses, chocolate, raisins, cherry, some vanilla, light red wine and hints of oak, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally woody finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant winter warmer, rather saturating and rich. Hardly get the juniper though.

It has all of the lambic flavor and aroma but everything seems light. It is not particularly sour and does not otherwise have a lot of character. OK.

Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy copper pour, two finger frothy off-white head, medium retention, lots of lacing on the glass. Herbal and spicy notes on the nose, yeast, grains, ripe fruits. Light body, soft to medium carbonation, lively. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, lightweight, slightly fizzy, easily drinkable. Sweet malty taste balanced with mild bitterness and light citrus sour notes. Aroma of yeast, malt, wheat. Grassy, spices, coriander, light citrus. Bready, clove, subtle fruity notes in the background. Medium lasting finish, slightly dry. Feels like a mixture of blonde ale and witbier. Good.

Creamy tan head left a spotty cover on a deep mahogany coloured body. Make, caramel & chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, creamy with a cloying back. Chocolate, roasted, raisin & liquorice tastes with a fruity finish. Very tasty.
