Description
Former name until 2006: "Privatbrauerei Josef Sigl".
The Trumer private brewery, formerly the Josef Sigl private brewery, is located in Obertrum am See near Salzburg and was founded in 1601. In 2006 the name was changed to the current company name. The Trumer private brewery is an eighth generation family business. Beer has been brewed in Obertrum am See since 1601. The brewery has been owned by the Sigl family since 1775 and is currently managed by the eighth generation of Josef C. Sigl.
The brewery uses a tight and - probably - unique and (partly) certified brewing process with 100% natural hops, an open fermentation in open yeast vats and a process of slow brewing (they take the time to let the beer mature).

Tap at Fassldippler (Vienna). Filtered golden color, medium white foam. Nose: malty, regular macro pils aroma although clean. Mouth: malty clean, bitter is there. Again, quite an ordinary one.

Tap at the Vienna Craft Beer Fest 2017. Pale golden semi-clear color, regular white foam. Nose: floral, something kind of phenolic. Mouth is a bit esile and sterile. This dry hop?

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks kerenmk. Golden. Graininess, a bit vegetal, a bit of bread, a bit of cardboard, slightly sweetish, bitterish finish, rather light-bodied. Easy-drinking but could be fresher.

Bottle, many thanks herrklemann! Slightly hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is bready, dough, herbs, flowery. Tasty is bready, cereal, dough, a touch earthy, flowery again. Soft mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Pleasant, very solid, but a bit sweet.
