The Trumer private brewery, formerly the Josef Sigl private brewery, is located in Obertrum am See near Salzburg and was founded in 1601. In 2006 the name was changed to the current company name. The Trumer private brewery is an eighth generation family business. Beer has been brewed in Obertrum am See since 1601. The brewery has been owned by the Sigl family since 1775 and is currently managed by the eighth generation of Josef C. Sigl.
The brewery uses a tight and - probably - unique and (partly) certified brewing process with 100% natural hops, an open fermentation in open yeast vats and a process of slow brewing (they take the time to let the beer mature).

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a smallish, rough, white head. Discreet, malty nose. Medium body, sweet maltiness and a subdued bitterness. Fairly mediocre. 061125

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Greasy, hoppy nose. Light body, but not exactly thin. Light maltiness but super hoppy in both flavour and bitterness. Interesting. 061125

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, lacing, white head. Aroma of noble hops. Medium body, a dry maltiness, distinct skunkiness (think Steinlager) which I don't necessarily find unpleasant, metallic accents and a distinct bitterness. Finally a Pilsner that dares offering you a solid bitterness. 051025

Bottle. Clear gold with a proper white head. Very mild aroma of grains and malts. Taste of grains and malts as well. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Balanced and harmless. Soft mouthfeel. Ok but I will never cease to be confused by this curious habit of calling a Helles a Märzen.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pale yellow with a slight haze and a lacing, white head. Distinct, spicy hop aroma - European varieties - and apparently dryhopped. Light body, dry and slightly yeasty with little maltiness. But again rich in hop flavors but little bitterness. 170925

Small if resistant white head over clear pale golden beer. Dusty grains, wheatflour, bit grassy, grainstalks. Very light bitterness overlying neutral to soft-sweet malts. Bit of chewing gum. Quite carbonated, as masking a fundamental lack of flavour. Bit slick. Rather dull beer.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy dark yellow with a small white head. Aroma of grains, some yeast, apples, a hint of lemons and floral hops. Taste of grains, straw and bread while also being vaguely fruity. Low to moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok.

Der Sommer ⛱️ bringt ein neues Bier in die Regale von Interspar.
Es ist ein recht leichtes ☁️ Pils, das nicht zu bitter ist. Etwas einfach im Körper, aber angenehm spritzig 💦.

Draught Very huge, whipped eggwhite-like head over not very carbonated golden beer. Pale malts, really fresh, Pilsner malt. Green leaves, bit of ureum. More toast in the flavour than expected. Mild, dry bitterish flavour, very dry finish. Light body, very slick, good carbonation. In the end, just a Pilsner, if on the better end of the scale.
