The beer poured almost clear and golden in color.
Citrus, grapefruit, good bitterness. Dry, long finish. Decent west Coast IPA.

0,75l bottle from the brewery. Bottled 1/2026, bbe 13.1.2029. Almost clear purple beer with huge and beautiful, stable pink head. Aroma is red berries, blueberries, vanilla and oak. Flavor is fresh with tart notes, blueberries, oak and woody red wine twist. Very nice.

440ml can. Quasi black colour with average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Grassy and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, roasty, dark malty background, notes of grass, hints of scallions, some grapefruit, some coffee. Taste is bitter, citrusy fruity and grassy hoppy as well as bitter, roasty, dark malty, notes of grapefruit, orange peel, hints of scallions, grass, some coffee, a touch of liquorice.
Watery and minimally oily texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Balanced, well adjusted bitterness, refreshing - good.

Black Barrel Series - Immolation from Panimoyhtiö Tuju

Smooth, slightly roasty and malty with some nutty notes, hints of caramel, prunes, oak, vanilla, toffee and syrup. A bit unbalanced but still pretty complex.

Smooth, roasty and heavy with coffee and barrel notes, some licorice, chocolate sauce, warming woody oakiness and caramel. Pretty intense slow sipper, perfect for this weather

0,44l can from the brewery. Canned 4/2026, bbe 12.4.2027. Almost black beer with good and quite stable beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, milk chocolate, caramel and oat. Flavor follows. Smooth, very easy to drink but very tasty too. Nice brew.

0,44l can from the brewery. Canned 1/2026, bbe 12.10.2026. Lightly hazy golden beer with good and stable, cloudy white head. Aroma is malts, lot of herbs and some floral fruitiness. Flavor is herbs, grass, grain and some citrusy fruits. Long lasting grassy finish. Quite sweet overall, not so crispy or fresh. 6 months old, of course.

440ml can. Slightly cloudy, orange golden colour with average, frothy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Wheaty malty and citrusy fruity, slightly spicy aroma, notes of orange, orange peel, some lemon, coriander, yeasty fruity overtones with a touch of banana. Taste is minimally bready, wheaty malty with some residual sweetness, citrusy fruity, moderately bitter hoppy and slightly peppery spicy, notes of lemon, orange peel, some coriander, a touch of white bread crust; minimally more fruity finish with an additional, yeasty fruity touch of banana.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium to fine, dense, prickly carbonation.
Nice composition, balanced, refreshing - good.
